Cafe Kin -
Our studio was approached to create a new health and well being cafe concept for Rowan House Health and Well being centre.
We created a calming, welcoming, contemporary and functional space in alignment with the company ethos and values and with the well being of the end users at the forefront of the design.
The café design included a mix of furniture to create a fully adaptable room for use as a dining space or for networking and such events. The bespoke serving counter was used to impactful focal point to the space.
Before & After
Biophilic design was incorporated in the overall scheme, creating an inviting and comforting environment aimed at improving the customer experience and and in turn encouraging them to spend longer in the space which in turn was aimed to have a positive impact on sales.
Good quality, durable, natural materials and textures such as linens, hessian, stone and raw woods add depth, warmth and character with a namely neutral, fresh, clean palette and edible planting.
The space was designed to encourage communication and interaction between users, with items such as a communal dining table, children's giant giant interactive pegboard and noticeboard, building a greater sense of community and becoming a local destination of choice for meetings, socials and events.
