The Byre Guesthouse -
Our studio was invited to redesign the open plan lounge and dining space, and bedrooms of this country barn conversion guest house.
A muted, neutral colour palette inspired by nature was chosen to sit alongside natural materials such as driftwood and sea grass & a range of fabrics to give a modern, country feel.
Before & After
We created a more cohesive decorative scheme to allow the space to flow seamlessly with the rest of the hotel, while painted pieces mixed with the existing oak furniture will provided contrast between the spaces.
Custom shelving units were built around the wood burner to create a better scale for the focal point of the room, allowing the addition of extra storage. Various levels of lighting provide guests with a cosy, welcoming environment.
